Humani’Care Strasbourg:
Our history
Humani’Care Strasbourg was created in January 2021 by Emmanuelle Arcay, along with six of her classmates from Strasbourg’s faculty of Pharmacy. During their third year in the university, Humani’Care founders noticed that an association promoting solidarity both locally and internationally was missing in the university, and in Strasbourg in general. Humani’Care Strasbourg’s history and values all comes from the desire to help others!
We also act internationally, especially through solidarity trips around the world at the end of every school year. They are organized along with organizations and people directly onsite in order to meet locals’ needs in the most fair and sustainable way possible.

The first solidarity trip took place in July 2022 in Togo and our main missions were:
- renovate the village’s dispensary
- raise awareness, prevent and detect high blood pressure
- train locals to first aid techniques
Our values
Health, it concerns us all.
Ensuring that everyone can benefit from decent treatments but also have access to information to prevent health issues though awareness and prevention campaigns is crucial for us medical students.
Solidarity, what binds us to one another.
The members of Humani’Care Strasbourg dedicate themselves to help and assist populations and precarious people or any other person in need during their entire mandate.
We are united between us and for others.
Our association treats everyone with respect and equality without any judgment or discrimination.
Ecology, at the heart of our actions.
We must all feel responsible for our planet’s well-being, that is why we care to inform and raise awareness among students of the environmental impact of their actions and how to reduce it. We, members of Humani’Care Strasbourg, commit ourselves to respect and preserve the environment.
