Why and how to join Humani’Care Strasbourg?
Joining our association is first and foremost a way to support us. Indeed, thanks to memberships, we can finance a part of our projects. Every euro counts: €1 is equivalent to 1 package of pasta and feeds 10 people. Membership is also mandatory to participate in our street outreach activities. Members also benefit from preferential rates at our events. The symbolic amount of the membership fee is €1, which can be paid through our association’s HelloAsso platform.
What are our actions?
Our association carries out several solidarity actions, such as weekly solidarity walks in Strasbourg, Cleanwalks, the “Boîte aux Êtres” a project aimed at fighting against isolation and loneliness among elderly people in nursing homes, food collections, public health and environmental prevention activities, clothing collection for associations, as well as recycling of school materials.
How to register for a particular event?
For each event, there is a HelloAsso page dedicated. We recommend you to look at our events calendar where you can find the different registration links for upcoming events.
Can anyone participate in the international solidarity trip?
Unfortunately, only members of the association’s board can participate in the international solidarity trip. However, you can support this project by participating in the events that allow us to finance it and by eventually donating materials for the trip. Additionally, you can experience this journey through photos and videos that will be published.
How to become a volunteer?
Members of the association have the opportunity to participate in our weekly solidarity walks by registering via the corresponding HelloAsso link. It is necessary to register for each solidarity walk you wish to participate in. If you also wish to help the association without becoming a member, do not hesitate to contact us.
Do I have to register every time to participate in an event?
Yes, it is necessary to register for each event, but the membership to the association is valid for the entire school year.
How to become a member of the association?
The election of new members and change of board take place every year in October. However, if you are interested in becoming a member, do not hesitate to contact us at any time of the year using the contact form.
How do we finance our actions?
We finance our projects through memberships, various sales (chocolates, cakes, cheeses, raffles…), events (karaoke nights, movie nights…) but also through our partnerships and the subventions we receive.

Can anyone be a member of the board?
It is mandatory to be a pharmacy student in order to become a member of the board, but membership is open to all levels (from P2 to 6th year). However, no condition is required to become a member of the association.
What is the duration of a term as a member of the board?
Once a person joins the board, they commit to a minimum term of one year, but there is no maximum duration as long as the member meets the conditions previously mentionned.
