    In this article, we will suggest to you a list of 10 good solidarity and ecological actions accessible to everyone that you can achieve from now on. From solidarity walks to blood donation, from local consumption to community involvement, discover how you can take concrete action to make a difference around you.

    1. Take part in a solidarity walk

    3. Support small local creators

    Many people start businesses with the desire to offer ethical and locally made products. In addition to supporting these creators, buying from them often aids reduce your ecological footprint. Supporting these local creators will involve carry out both solidarity and ecological actions. This goes a long way to support them and care for the planet as well.

    4. Sort and donate your clothes

    We all have clothes in our closet that we no longer wear. Sorting them out and donating them to organizations such as The Red Cross, Espoir Colmar Association or Emmaüs can help support charitable associations, assist people in need and contribute to reducing your ecological footprint by giving your clothes a second life

    5. Be part of an association

    What is a cleanwalk? It’s walking in a defined area and picking up all sorts of litter that may be present as many spaces around us are polluted. 

    7. Visiting an elderly person

    Some elderly people may feel lonely, neglected or isolated and would be delighted to have someone to talk to for a while. Visiting a friend or a family member can provide them with great comfort, companionship and intellectual stimulation. In short, visiting an elderly person is an act of generosity and empathy that can have an important impact on their life and on our own well-being. So don’t wait any longer! Visit or check on your grandparents, your neighbors or elderly persons you know to share a moment of your day with them.

    8. Put a meal in a solidarity fridge

    If you cooked too many proportions or if you simply want to double your recipe to share with someone, prepare a dish to put in the nearest solidarity fridge. This will allow someone in need to enjoy a good meal!

    9. Commit to a good cause

    If a good cause is close to your heart, take action! You can become a volunteer, sign a petition or make a donation

    10.  Share your knowledge and skills

    Sharing your knowledge and your skills can be beneficial for yourself and for others. If you have some free time, use it wisely to support someone : assist with homework, explain a subject to a student from your class, share what you have learned in a training course with your colleagues…  People are often grateful for the help and the opportunity to learn something new. In addition, sharing your skills can also reinforce your self-confidence by putting your knowledge into practice and feel useful.
